ALGIERS, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- Algeria on Sunday reaffirmed its "full solidarity" with Türkiye following the bombing attack in front of the building of Türkiye's interior ministry on Sunday morning.
A statement from the Algerian Presidency voiced strong condemnation of the attack in Ankara, noting "Algeria, as a brotherly country, assures Türkiye of its full solidarity."
Algeria "calls for the necessary coordination of regional and international efforts to confront terrorism in all its forms and put an end to its practices aimed at destabilizing nations," the statement added.
Two attackers carried out a bombing attack in front of the interior ministry's building in the Turkish capital Ankara on Sunday, slightly injuring two police officers. One attacker died after he set off the suicide bomb, while the other bomber was shot dead by the police. ■
