LIBREVILLE, March 9 (Xinhua) -- At least two people died and about 20 others went missing following a shipwreck in the central African nation of Gabon Wednesday night, according to a military source reached out by Xinhua Thursday.
According to a provisional report provided by a military source, the ship was sailing from Gabon's capital of Libreville to Port-Gentil, a leading seaport, late Wednesday.
The Gabonese navy has dispatched rescue teams to find survivors.
Gabonese officials have not yet publicly commented on this tragedy. ■
