NAIROBI, July 20 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's tourism marketers on Wednesday launched a six month campaign to promote domestic tourism which had been affected by COVID-19 pandemic.

KTB Chief Executive Officer Betty Radier said the campaign will give Kenyan travelers an opportunity to enjoy seamless hospitality services from the partnerships.

Radier said the partnership is bringing on board more than 20 partners including tour operators, airlines, and hoteliers making travel packages complete for a seamless experience.

"This campaign will give us an opportunity to enhance the experience that travelers can enjoy in the destination away from the beach and safari products and begin to move into other cities," she said during the launch of the campaign in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya.

Radier noted that major towns such as Naivasha, Kisumu, Nakuru, and Nanyuki are quickly becoming favorable spots for domestic travelers besides the coastal city of Mombasa.
