LAGOS, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Ten people were killed and seven others injured in a collision between two buses in Nigeria's northeastern state of Yobe, local authorities said.
Speeding was blamed for the collision on Saturday night on a road near Gashaka, a town in the state's Fika local government area, according to a statement issued by Yobe state police.
Deadly road accidents are frequently reported in Nigeria, some also blamed on bad roads and reckless driving. ■
