TUNIS, May 20 (Xinhua) -- Tunisian security dismantled a three-member terrorist cell active in the northern province of Bizerte, private radio station Shems FM reported Friday.
The suspects were communicating with each other and extremist groups outside the country via social networks, the report said.
"They were publishing posts, photos, and videos that glorify the acts of terrorism," the Shems FM quoted a security source as saying.
The terrorist cell was dismantled by the National Guard's counterterrorism directorate.
Since 2011, terrorist activities in Tunisia have killed dozens of security and military agents, civilians, and foreign tourists. ■
