ACCRA, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Three people are feared dead following a civilian helicopter crash in Tema, a port city east of Ghana's capital Accra, on Monday afternoon.
Ahmed Abdulla, a local government representative for the Kwesi Plange Electoral Area in Tema, told local media that the crash occurred on the Oninku Road School Park near the central business district of the port city.
A rescue team led by the Ghana National Fire Service and Ghana Police Service has cordoned off the scene with frantic efforts to rescue any possible survivors. ■
