BEIJING, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Xinhua News Agency President Fu Hua met with Pak Kwangchol, Vice President of Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), in Beijing on Sunday.
Fu thanked KCNA for its great support for the 7th World Media Summit hosted by Xinhua. He said he hoped the two news organizations would continue to deepen and broaden their already sound cooperation, share experience and practices in media innovation and development, and further strengthen personnel exchanges.
Pak said he was delighted to be invited to attend the summit, which provided an exchange platform for global media to share opportunities and jointly address challenges. Noting Xinhua's use of artificial intelligence was impressive, he expected the visit will serve as an opportunity to expand cooperation between the two news organizations and better report on the DPRK-China friendship. ■
