NEW DELHI, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Three members of a family, including a woman and her 20-day-old baby, died and a couple of others were injured when a part of their house's roof collapsed over them on Sunday in India's northern state of Uttar Pradesh, local police confirmed.
The incident was reported from the state's Kanpur district. The house was said to be over 35 years old.
The woman was breastfeeding her son when the roof suddenly caved in, allegedly due to the accumulation of water on the roof. ■
