ASUNCION, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Paraguay's Senate on Friday voted to remove President Santiago Pena from office following an impeachment trial over a banking scandal.
Pena was accused of conflicts of interest involving a private bank, financial manipulation and misuse of pension funds. ■
