BEIJING, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Yu Yanhong, former director of China's National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is under investigation for suspected severe violations of Party discipline and the law, an official statement said on Friday.
Yu, also a former member of the leading Party members group of the National Health Commission, has turned herself in and is being investigated by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Commission of Supervision, according to the statement. ■
