OSLO, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Police and military bomb disposal personnel examined two aircraft at Copenhagen Airport on Thursday morning following threats, but found nothing suspicious.

Police said passengers and others at the airport were not in danger. Airport operations continued normally.

According to Danish broadcaster TV 2, the airport received an email threatening specific departures. TV 2 obtained an internal email subsequently sent by the airport to employees, which said the threatening message had been distributed to a broad group of recipients.

The airport said it was handling the situation under established procedures and emergency plans, in close coordination with the authorities.

The incident came as bomb threats disrupted several other European flights on Thursday.

Earlier this week, a SAS flight from Copenhagen to Warsaw also received a threat. The aircraft landed safely Tuesday, and Polish authorities said checks did not substantiate the threat. ■
