BEIJING, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted Mid-Indian Ridge at 1821 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 35.53 degrees south latitude and 78.27 degrees east longitude. ■
