CAIRO, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- Egypt's National Alliance for Civil Development Work (NACDW) on Saturday launched its 14th humanitarian aid convoy for the Gaza Strip, carrying about 1,400 tonnes of relief supplies on over 100 trucks, Egypt's official MENA news agency reported.
With 13 affiliated charitable organizations participating, the convoy carried food, flour, blankets, clothing, medicines, and other relief supplies to support Palestinians in Gaza facing "difficult humanitarian conditions."
The alliance's 13 previous convoys delivered more than 75,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Gaza, according to MENA.
Meanwhile, Gaza's health authorities said Saturday in their latest daily update that six Palestinian deaths and 26 injuries were recorded over the past 48 hours, raising the toll since the Israel-Hamas ceasefire took effect in October 2025 to 1,580 deaths and 5,711 injuries.
The overall Palestinian death toll since the conflict began in October 2023 has risen to 74,594, with 175,834 injured, according to the health authorities. ■
