MOSCOW, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine attacked three Russian oil refineries and a gas-chemical complex on Friday, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
"We had a pause for some time, but today attacks on refineries have resumed, and our enterprises are working on defense," Novak said.
He added that one facility sustained minor damage while Russian air defense systems generally performed as expected.
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the strikes will not complicate preparations for a trilateral meeting on the Ukrainian settlement planned for November, as there are no restrictions on military operations during the preparatory period.
Moscow does not plan to raise the issue during the coming negotiations, he said. ■
