BEIJING, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted Near East Coast of Honshu, Japan at 1507 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 49.4 km, was initially determined to be at 35.67 degrees north latitude and 140.59 degrees east longitude. ■
