BEIJING, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted Banda Sea at 2206 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 139.1 km, was initially determined to be at 6.46 degrees south latitude and 130.44 degrees east longitude. ■
