YANGON, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- Dazzling fireworks lit up the night sky in Yangon, Myanmar, filling the city with festive cheer. People light candles at the Botahtaung Pagoda and visit a fair at People's Square during the Thadingyut Festival.
Myanmar's Thadingyut Festival, also known as the Festival of Lights, is celebrated across the country to commemorate the Buddha's descent from heaven.
