BEIJING, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- The organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games on Wednesday officially unveiled "Stars Align" as the official slogan of the Games.
According to LA28, the slogan captures the moment when years of dedication converge in Los Angeles - with athletes competing on the world stage, partners and volunteers helping make it possible, and fans everywhere experiencing the Games together.
"Los Angeles has always been a place where big ideas take shape, and the Games remind us what's possible when the world comes together," said LA28 Chairman Casey Wasserman. "'Stars Align' is a call to be part of that, whether you're an athlete who has trained for years, a volunteer welcoming the world, or a fan cheering from the stands. We can't wait to share this moment with everyone in 2028."
The Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games will be held from July 14 to 30, followed by the Paralympic Games from Aug. 15 to 27. ■
