RIO DE JANEIRO, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- Brazil's Liberal Party, whose presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro lost Sunday's runoff, recognized the election result on Monday, party president Valdemar Costa Neto said.
The announcement came after members of Bolsonaro's campaign told CNN Brasil that he had decided not to seek the annulment of the runoff, and would instead pursue legal action over alleged abuses of political and economic power by incumbent President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's campaign. ■
