BISHKEK, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- The Communist Party of China (CPC) possesses unique qualities that enable effective long-term governance of China, an experience a Kyrgyz political analyst said is enlightening and inspiring to other nations.

Noting that the fifth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC focuses on strengthening full and rigorous Party self-governance, Mars Sariev believes that the core, unique advantages that underpin the CPC's long-term governance include strict Party discipline, a high sense of political responsibility, a resolute anti-corruption drive, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of its personnel.

"For the CPC, this is of fundamental importance," Sariev said. "A party that aspires to govern a nation for the long term cannot allow private interests to infiltrate its political decision-making system."

Sariev believes the CPC's governance experience is particularly worth studying because it implements its policies in a consistent, systematic way.

Using the CPC's anti-corruption campaign as an example, he noted that the effort remains ongoing rather than temporary.

"Corruption is capable of adapting to changing realities, which is why the system of oversight must also be constantly refined and improved," he added.

He believes another important lesson from the CPC's experience is its strong emphasis on training highly qualified personnel.

"For long-term governance, what matters is not only the professional competence of officials, but also their personal integrity, their ability to adhere to discipline, and their willingness to prioritize long-term national interests over short-term personal gain," he noted.

In Sariev's view, the CPC's ongoing pursuit of and a commitment to "self-reform" are also vital.

"The Party's 'self-reform' reflects the system's ability to regularly eliminate factors that could lead to its gradual degradation over time," he said.

Sariev added that this process involves not only combating corruption but also fighting unnecessary formalities, bureaucratism, hedonism and extravagance to prevent them from escalating into corruption.  ■
