JERUSALEM, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- British Airways, the UK's flag carrier, has resumed flights to Israel, with a flight from London Heathrow landing at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv on Monday.
The airline suspended services to Israel following the outbreak of the war with Iran on Feb. 28 this year. It said it is keeping the situation in the Middle East under constant review.
Spain's Iberia Express has also resumed flights to Tel Aviv, with a flight from Madrid arriving on Monday.
The airline has reinstated its daily service after suspending the route in mid-January amid increasing tensions in the Middle East.
Initially, Iberia Express flights to Tel Aviv will include a short stopover in Athens to allow for crew changes, while flights in the opposite direction will operate nonstop. ■
