MANILA, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- A 15-year-old student was shot dead while two others were injured after an unknown gunman opened fire in southern Philippines' Agusan del Sur province on Saturday.
According to local authorities, the 15-year-old victim was declared dead on arrival at a local hospital. Two other survivors, 23 and 13, were rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.
Initial police findings showed the assailant struck around 2 a.m. when people were heading home after attending a night concert. The suspect fled after the shooting.
Investigations are underway. ■
