ST. PETERSBURG, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Qiang said on Wednesday that China is ready to strengthen communication and coordination with Russia on major issues, and maintain close cooperation within multilateral platforms such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS.
In his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg, Li also said China is ready to work with Russia to unite more forces of the Global South and safeguard common interests. ■
