KIEV, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Sunday that he had a conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump's representatives, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, to discuss the next steps in diplomatic efforts to end the Ukraine crisis.
The talks focused on the results of a recent meeting between the Ukrainian and U.S. negotiating teams in Florida, Zelensky said.
He added that representatives from both countries remain in constant communication and are preparing the next steps in diplomacy.
"Ukraine remains ready to work constructively, honestly, and toward a real result," Zelensky said. ■
