GAZA, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Four Palestinians, including a child, were killed by Israeli army fire in various areas across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, Palestinian sources said.
Medical sources at Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City told Xinhua that the hospital received the body of a Palestinian killed when an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians on a street west of Gaza City. Several others were wounded.
The sources added that a Palestinian man died of wounds sustained when he was shot by Israeli forces in Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip.
In the southern Gaza Strip, a medical source said Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis received the body of a Palestinian woman killed by Israeli army fire outside areas under Israeli control.
In the central Gaza Strip, Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah reported that a child was killed by Israeli army fire outside areas under Israeli control in the Maghazi refugee camp.
Meanwhile, Gaza-based health authorities said hospitals across the enclave received seven bodies and 25 wounded people over the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll since the ceasefire took effect in October 2025 to 1,517, with 5,400 others wounded.
The authorities added that the total death toll since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas conflict on Oct. 7, 2023, had reached 74,475, with 175,517 others wounded. ■
