PHNOM PENH, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia and Kazakhstan signed six cooperation agreements on Saturday to strengthen bilateral ties, according to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet.

In a social media post, Hun Manet shared that he and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev witnessed the exchange of the pacts following their bilateral talks during his official visit to Astana.

He added that the two nations also adopted a joint statement to formalize their shared commitments.

The Cambodian leader noted that the signed agreements cover cooperation in artificial intelligence and digital development, digital government, trade and economic relations, tourism, culture, and twin-city ties between the two countries' capitals.

Kazakhstan marked the final stop of Hun Manet's three-nation tour, which also included visits to Azerbaijan and Türkiye. ■
