YANGON, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Embassy in Myanmar on Thursday donated funds to four Myanmar sports federations in Yangon as part of China-Myanmar friendly sports exchanges.
At the event, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ma Jia said that the donation was intended to support the development of Myanmar's sports sector, help athletes improve their skills and reach new heights.
She added that China is ready to deepen sports exchanges with Myanmar, bringing the youth of the two nations closer and strengthening people-to-people ties. ■
