JAKARTA, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Supply disruptions and surging consumption have triggered fuel supply bottlenecks across Indonesia's resort island of Bali, causing long queues at gas stations, state-owned oil and gas firm Pertamina said Wednesday.

The company said the disruption was caused by delays in tanker cargo discharging alongside high demand for subsidized gasoline, which reached around 2,200 kiloliters per day.

Pertamina and the Bali provincial government assured the public that overall fuel stocks are sufficient, with new shipments arriving and round-the-clock deliveries underway to ease congestion and restore normal supply. ■
