Over 800 participants, including diplomatic envoys to China from 25 countries, are attending the 47th World Congress of Vine and Wine in Ningxia, China. Through exhibitions and firsthand wine tastings, they learned about Ningxia's wine industry and product quality.
Through years of sustained effort, Ningxia has converted about 26,667 hectares of barren land at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain into a world-renowned ecological wine-producing base.
It is now China's largest contiguous wine grape production area, accounting for nearly 42 percent of the national total.■
