Giay and Alexander Barboza struck first-half goals and Matheus Bidu turned the ball into his own net just after the interval as the hosts opened up a 3-0 lead.
Palmeiras went further ahead courtesy of Giay's 51st-minute strike before Gustavo Henrique pulled a goal back in stoppage time.
The result leaves Palmeiras second in the 20-team standings with 63 points, one behind Flamengo, while Corinthians is 16th, having lost eight straight games in the top flight.
