JERUSALEM, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Israeli forces carried out a wave of strikes across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, targeting Hamas facilities, the military and Shin Bet domestic security agency said on Sunday.
According to a joint statement, the sites included a command center in Gaza City's Daraj Tuffah neighborhood, a rocket launch site in Al-Furqan and three weapon depots containing rockets, explosives, mortars and rifles.
The Shin Bet and military said they will continue operations against what they described as efforts by militant groups to rebuild their capabilities.
Gaza-based health authorities said on Sunday six Palestinians had been killed in the past 24 hours and another had died of earlier wounds, while 28 people were injured.
Israeli attacks have killed 1,488 Palestinians and wounded 5,281 since a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel took effect in October 2025, bringing the total toll since October 2023 to at least 74,377 people, according to the authorities. ■
