BEIJING, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 8.0 jolted 14 km SW of Pitaloza Arriba, Panama at 1756 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 33 km, was initially determined to be at 7.54 degrees north latitude and 80.75 degrees west longitude. ■
