BEIJING, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted Northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 2059 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 30.54 degrees north latitude and 41.79 degrees west longitude. ■
