RIYADH -- Three people were killed and 36 others injured in two separate attacks targeting Abha International Airport in southwestern Saudi Arabia and King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation said.
In a statement posted on social media, the authority said the attack on Abha airport killed two female residents of Moroccan and Algerian nationalities and injured 28 others. The injuries ranged from minor to critical. (Saudi Arabia-Airports-Attacks)

KIEV -- At least 24 people were killed and dozens injured in a Russian drone and missile attack targeting energy and infrastructure facilities across Ukraine, Ukrainian authorities said Wednesday.

SANAA/RIYADH -- Yemen's Houthi group said Wednesday that Saudi forces had carried out 156 air and missile strikes on the Houthi-held capital Sanaa and five other provinces, as the group reported fresh fighting with government forces in Yemen's northern province of Al-Jawf near the Saudi border.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sarea said the Saudi strikes hit areas in Sanaa and the provinces of Taiz, Saada, Al-Jawf, Marib and Amran, claiming that civilian sites were among the targets but provided no details. (Yemen-Saudi Arabia-Strikes)

MEXICO CITY -- Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum on Wednesday signed a constitutional reform decree barring people with dual nationality from running for the presidency, state governorships, or head of government of Mexico City.
The decree, previously approved by the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies and ratified by the required number of state legislatures, was to be published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on Wednesday. Although the decree takes effect upon publication, the new rules will apply beginning with the 2028 electoral process. (Mexico-Election-Nationality) ■
