ISLAMABAD -- Pakistani security forces have killed nine terrorists, including four key commanders, in an intelligence-based operation in the country's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Thursday, security sources said.

WARSAW -- One person was killed and two others were injured in a knife attack at a school near Wyszkow in Poland's central Mazowieckie province on Thursday, local media reported.

SANAA -- Yemen's Houthi group said Thursday it launched a fresh ballistic missile attack on King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital of Riyadh and carried out missile strikes against government forces near the strategic Bab al-Mandab Strait.

JERUSALEM -- Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar announced on Thursday that the British consulate in East Jerusalem had ended its operations on Israel's orders and that the consul general and 19 diplomats would leave the country, citing "countermeasures" following British measures against Israel.
