YANGON, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar exported 161,931 tonnes of fishery products in the first six months of the fiscal year 2026-27, which began in April, earning over 278 million U.S. dollars, according to the Department of Fisheries on Tuesday.
The export volume declined compared with the same period of the previous fiscal year, when the country exported over 190,567 tonnes of fishery products, the department said.
Myanmar exports fishery products to about 40 countries and regions, with the majority going to China, Thailand, the Middle East and Europe, it said. ■
