PARIS, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- France on Tuesday test-fired a ballistic missile from the nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine Le Vigilant off the coast of Finistere in western France, French television channel BFM TV reported, citing the French Defense Ministry.
The missile fell into the northern Atlantic Ocean after the test, which was conducted without a nuclear warhead, the ministry said. ■
