JERUSALEM -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Saturday confirmed media reports that it attacked senior Hamas official Ali Ahmed Al-Amoudi overnight in Gaza City.

TEHRAN -- The navy of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has targeted at least seven "violating" oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz in the past five days, the semi-official Fars news agency reported Saturday.

SANAA -- Yemen's Houthi group said Saturday it launched ballistic missiles and drones at an Aramco facility in the Saudi capital Riyadh, in retaliation for what it described as intensified Saudi air and missile strikes on Yemen.
In a statement broadcast by the Houthi-run al-Masirah TV, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Sarea claimed the attack achieved its objective, with "direct hits" setting fire to the targeted sites. (Yemen-Houthis-Fighting)

EL ALAMEIN, Egypt -- Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Saturday agreed to step up coordination on security and stability in the Horn of Africa, Gulf of Aden, Bab al-Mandab Strait and Red Sea, according to a statement by the Egyptian presidency.
