NEW DELHI -- India's foreign exchange (forex) reserves fell by 18.343 billion U.S. dollars to 747.557 billion U.S. dollars during the week ended Sept. 25, the country's central bank, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), said Friday.
This was the third consecutive week the forex reserves fell. During the preceding week, they had fallen by over 14.8 billion U.S. dollars. (India-Forex)

TOKYO -- Japan's Hayabusa2 space probe, which has been operating far beyond its design life, has suffered a malfunction in its last working ion engine, local media reported Friday.

JAKARTA -- Police have named four suspects in connection with a ship that capsized and later sank in the Java Sea on Sept. 13, South Kalimantan police said on Friday.
Sigit Haryono, a local police official, said the four suspects were the ship's captain, an official from shipping and logistics company PT Virgo Karya Shipping, the company's branch manager and its operations manager. (Indonesia-Accident) ■
