TEHRAN -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Tuesday expressed his country's willingness to deepen relations with Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

CAIRO -- Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said Tuesday that the two-state solution is the only way to achieve lasting peace and stability in the Middle East, reaffirming that peace is Egypt's strategic choice.

DOHA -- Qatar said Tuesday that meetings and contacts aimed at bridging differences between the United States and Iran are continuing, with Doha exchanging messages between the two sides and seeking to build common ground toward a peaceful settlement.

JERUSALEM -- Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Tuesday that Hamas leaders abroad were also targets for Israel, hours after Israel said it had killed the commander of Hamas' northern Gaza brigade in an overnight airstrike.
