MADRID, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- Spain coach Luis de la Fuente has called Betis left back Fran Garcia into his squad for the two remaining UEFA Nations League games in the current international break after Atletico Madrid's Alex Grimaldo was forced to drop out due to injury.
Grimaldo was an unused substitute in Spain's 4-1 win over Croatia on Tuesday night and also failed to play a minute in Saturday's impressive 3-2 win over England at Wembley.
Garcia joined Betis from Real Madrid this summer and made two appearances for Spain two years ago.
Spain faces the Czech Republic in Oviedo on Saturday, before traveling to play Croatia in Split next Tuesday. ■
