DOHA, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- The 22nd Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE) is underway at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, featuring 49 exhibitors representing more than 500 brands from 30 countries.
The six-day exhibition runs from Sept. 28 to Oct. 3. International jewellery and watch houses are participating alongside regional brands and Qatari designers, with collectors, buyers and visitors gathering in the exhibition halls.
This year's DJWE was originally scheduled for late April and early May, but was postponed amid regional escalation triggered by joint U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran starting on Feb. 28.
The exhibition is organised by Visit Qatar and the Qatar Business Events Corporation. ■
