SINGAPORE, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's state-owned fund Temasek has acquired a 9-percent strategic minority stake in FSI SGR S.p.A. (FSI), an Italian growth equity investor, the two companies said in a joint statement on Monday.
Temasek will also commit additional capital to FSI's future funds as part of the strategic partnership.
The partnership will deepen Temasek's exposure to Italy's mid-market companies, while providing FSI with additional international capital to support the growth of its portfolio companies, the statement said.
It will combine FSI's local market knowledge, relationships with Italian entrepreneurs and sourcing capabilities with Temasek's long-term investment horizon, sector expertise and global network to support the expansion of Italian mid-market companies. ■
