KABUL, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Afghan police have destroyed two drug processing labs, seizing 3,520 kg of materials used in heroin production in the southern province of Helmand, according to a statement from the Ministry of Interior Affairs on Saturday.
Acting on intelligence tip-offs, police targeted sites in Baghran district, where they dismantled the labs and incinerated materials used in heroin production, said the statement. ■
