BEIJING, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 jolted Loyalty Islands at 2123 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 21.22 degrees south latitude and 168.66 degrees east longitude. ■
