La Galerie du 19M SHANGHAI holds press tour-Xinhua

People visit the exhibition of la Galerie du 19M SHANGHAI during a press tour at the Museum of Art Pudong in Shanghai, east China, Sept. 24, 2026. La Galerie du 19M SHANGHAI held a press tour on Thursday and will open to the public at the Museum of Art Pudong from Sept. 25 to Nov. 15.

Founded by Chanel in Paris in 2021, le 19M brings together 11 Maisons d'art and nearly 700 artisans and experts in fashion and decoration. It is also home to La Galerie du 19M, a space dedicated to transmission and celebration of the Metiers d'art.

Creators and artisans from China and France will participate in direct dialogue on contemporary creation and exceptional craftsmanship here. The event will also offer exhibitions, lectures and hands-on workshops to the public. (Xinhua/Gao Jing)
