
BEIJING, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- China's State Council announced the appointment and removal of several officials on Sunday.
Yu Xiaohui was appointed vice minister of industry and information technology, and Pan Wenbo vice minister of agriculture and rural affairs.
Li Chenggang was appointed international trade representative of China, and Ling Ji concurrently serves as deputy international trade representative of China.
Cai Dong was appointed deputy head of the National Financial Regulatory Administration.
Zhang Yongjun was appointed deputy director of the Cyberspace Administration of China, replacing Niu Yibing.
Zhang Xiaotang was appointed deputy director of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration, and Liu Zhen deputy head of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Xu Qingsen was removed from the post of vice education minister, and Hu Weilie from the post of vice minister of justice.
Liao Zhiwei no longer serves as director of the Changjiang Water Resources Commission. ■
