BEIJING, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese side urged Philippines to abide by the one-China principle with concrete actions, and refrain from taking any steps that could further harm China-Philippines relations, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said on Wednesday.
Spokesperson Guo Jiakun made the remarks at a daily news briefing when asked to comment on media reports that the Taiwan authorities plans to set up a "representative office" in the central Philippine province of Cebu. ■
