SEOUL, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Two crew members went into cardiac arrest and two others were injured on Tuesday in the gas leak accident of a Russian fishing vessel docked in South Korea's southeastern port city of Busan, according to Yonhap news agency.
An emergency call was received around 8:37 a.m. local time (2337 GMT Monday), reporting the refrigerant gas leak on the 769-ton Russian fishing boat anchored in Busan.
Of the 15 crew members on board the vessel, two Russian sailors were found in a state of cardiac arrest, while another two sustained less severe injuries.
About 40 police and firefighting personnel were deployed to the scene, searching the ship's interior and surrounding areas to ensure there were no additional casualties.
The police and fire authorities were conducting an investigation to determine the exact cause of the leak. ■
