FUZHOU, China, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese sportswear brand Peak and the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) on Tuesday jointly launched the official kit for 56 delegations competing at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games at a ceremony in Quanzhou, southeast China's Fujian Province.

The Games will run from October 31 to November 13 and are expected to draw about 2,700 athletes, marking the first Olympic event to be held in Africa.

"The collection is a showcase of Peak's technological strength and design capability, and a commitment to the balanced development of the Olympic movement," said Xu Jingnan, chairman of Peak Group.

"As more countries and regions choose Peak, we hope to turn that trust into a more open co-creation platform, bringing Chinese manufacturing, global design and local partners together to grow bigger and stronger."

ANOC Secretary-General Gunilla Lindberg said the partnership with Peak would continue through 2032.

"Every athlete, regardless of the size or resources of their Olympic committee, deserves to arrive at the Olympic Games with dignity, confidence and pride," Lindberg said. "This is not simply sponsorship. It is solidarity put into action."

"For young athletes from these 56 delegations, Peak will become a symbol of quality, aspiration and possibility. Their pride in wearing this collection will help spread awareness of the Peak brand and the excellence of its products across continents and around the world," she added.

According to Wu Bingrui, head of Peak's overseas business, the company has a presence in more than 150 countries and regions, with more than 2,000 stores and sales outlets overseas. Its overseas revenue rose more than 50 percent year on year in the first half of 2026.  Enditem
